I just finished my Mukilteo Lighthouse quilt and pattern!!! It is a local landmark that I pass everytime we take the ferry to Whidbey Island, and of course I took a few creative liberties in making the quilt (hopefully not too many for those who know it). Also included are some dungeness crabs that are trying not to be caught for dinner;-) Some mother of pearl buttons were added to give it a little sparkle.

I have fond memories of this lighthouse and coffee shop, as well as the ferry trip to Whidby Island. My brother's family used to live in Mukilteo and then Camano Island. Nice job on the quilt.
