Before I left Sister's OR in July, my new friend Cathy gave me the kit for this basket. Well, I finally sat down and worked on it, searching a book and the internet for help when I didn't have much of a clue what the directions were telling me, and this is the result:

Great looking basket. I think the last time I made a basket, I was a kid in camp.
Until I made the Blueberry Basket this past summer, I hadn't made a basket other than one with a wooden base and one that you stitched together back in school.
Very nice job. Love the handle.
Thank you! It was the easiest pattern that I thought of (the pattern didn't specify a design to use on the handle).
