Jewels Table Runner Available

I just wanted everyone to know that the Jewels Table Runner pattern is finished, and available. If your local shop doesn't have it, you could always ask them to contact me and get them for you.

Jewels Tablerunner

I just finished this tablerunner yesterday, but had to wait until today to photograph it. A pattern is in the works that will include rotary cutting diagrams, and should be available soon.

Fall Basket

This fall basket wall quilt was designed to go with a technique class that I'm teaching at a local quilt shop. The basket is woven and painted, then I added flowers and beads to make the flower centers sparkle. I'm going to be teaching all the techniques that I used, including the quilting.

Stars 'n' Stripes

Well as they say, "necessity is the mother of invention", and this quilt really proves that point. It's been really busy around here, and one of my son's teachers had a baby - so as a quilter, I felt I needed to make her a quilt. Since I wanted my son to be involved with the project, he helped choose the fabric, and when I asked him about the design, he said he wanted curves and stars, and this is what I came up with. I've cut two quilts in under an hour, and the last one I made was finished in about 7 1/ 2 hours, including quilting and binding! My local quilt shop saw it, and had to have the pattern - so it's now available.

Mukilteo Lighthouse

I just finished my Mukilteo Lighthouse quilt and pattern!!! It is a local landmark that I pass everytime we take the ferry to Whidbey Island, and of course I took a few creative liberties in making the quilt (hopefully not too many for those who know it). Also included are some dungeness crabs that are trying not to be caught for dinner;-) Some mother of pearl buttons were added to give it a little sparkle.

Playing Card Tote

This tote was made from my Terrific Tote pattern, however, I appliqued cards to the pockets that had been printed on fabric.

Terrific Tote - Western Washington Shop Hop

Well, I've finished my shop hop version of the Terrific Tote. On one side is the railroad block, and on the other is the tulip block. The inner pockets are out of the print, but the lining is the blue ticking that I used for the straps.
