Terrific Tote in blue brown fabrics

It didn't take me long to whip up these fabrics using my Terrific Tote pattern! Begun yesterday, and finished today, the photo has been taken, and now it will travel to Gathering Fabric for display. Both sides are the same, and inside, the lining is a coordinating large polka dot and there are two more large pockets to keep things.

On the cutting board

Just a preview of things to come - Susan, at Gathering Fabric asked me to make up some new samples to display in her shop:

The Terrific Tote will be made from these fabrics, but I'm going to make the pockets plain, to showcase the gorgeous large print.

Checkerboard Stars is a new pattern and it is going to be made with these new red, black and cream fabrics (reminds me of high school, as it is hurricane flag colors).

Playing Card Tote

This tote was made from my Terrific Tote pattern, however, I appliqued cards to the pockets that had been printed on fabric.

Terrific Tote - Western Washington Shop Hop

Well, I've finished my shop hop version of the Terrific Tote. On one side is the railroad block, and on the other is the tulip block. The inner pockets are out of the print, but the lining is the blue ticking that I used for the straps.

Tote pattern now available

The Teriffic Tote pattern is finished! There are five pocket designs which you can choose from - grapes, cherries, tulips, a crab and a railroad crossing sign. I've posted pictures of the totes and blocks previously, so if you'd like to see them, just scroll down a bit further.

Teriffic Tote - Pastel Tulips

Here is a totally diferent look from the same tote design. The tulips are from pastel dot and check fabrics that coordiinate with the main fabric. The floral trim was couched onto the handle webbing before it was attached to the tote.

Teriffic Tote - cherry and another crab tote

I thought the crab needed a better background, so after finding the water and rock fabric, I made another tote, and I think I like this one better!

I really love this cherry fabric, so of course I had to create a cherry pocket to go with it. So far this is my favorite tote!

Teriffic Tote - with grape cluster pocket

The grapes are another pocket choice for the Teriffic tote. These pair up with the grape and wine fabric that I found at my local quilt shop, and will be included in the pattern.

Terrific Tote with Crab Pockets

This is my newest tote! I'm working on a pattern for this one, and will also have 4 other pocket choices. I'll post pictures as they are finished, and the pattern will be ready in time for our Western Washington Shop Hop (of course, one will be my shop hop block on the pocket, and the main fabric will be the shop hop fabric). The tote is about 18" wide and 12" tall.
