Tulip Time in Tulip Town

This past Monday, some friends and I went to see the tulips in Skagit Valley, and it was the nicest day! There are huge fields of tulips between Mount Vernon and La Conner, and even though they started blooming earlier this year, there was still a beautiful display.

I did take some close-ups of my favorites:

I miss my tulips (in NY) and will have to look into planting them here now! Just a perfect trip, wasn't it?!

Sara, I think it's amazing that they come in so many different colors and the fields would have been even more spectacular if we had gone earlier.

Lyric, yes, it was a wonderful day spent with friends!
